Find the bottle you meant to buy again.
Your score, your notes and the label facts sit together, so months later you have more to go on than a blurry photo.
Your score answers the useful question: would you pour it again?
Your whiskey journal
Log a pour in twenty seconds: the bottle, how you took it, a score out of ten and a few flavours. Your Bunker knows what is open, how much is left and what you paid. And Stillman, your whiskey guide, has read both. No expertise needed.
iPhone · Free journal · Optional Pro · Legal drinking age only

You poured something good at a bar in October and gave it a nine. In February you are standing in front of the same shelf with no idea what it was called.
Cask & Note fixes that.
What it does
IThe journal
Pick the bottle, pick how you took it, score it out of ten, tap a few flavours, done. A pour at the bar takes twenty seconds. At home, open More detail and go as deep as you like.

IIEvery bottle
Every bottle in the Bunker has its own page: the fill level, the facts off the label, where it sits and what you paid. Log a pour from it in one tap, and mark it killed, gifted or sold when it goes.

IIIAsk Stillman
Stillman answers from your own pours and your own Bunker, not a crowd average. Ask what to open tonight, what a word on the label means, or what to try next. The more you log, the better its answers fit you.
Ask it things like
Five messages a month on Free, unlimited on Pro. Pro also adds Tonight’s Pour, which picks one bottle off your open shelf for the mood you are in, flight plans, and a palate report worked out from the pours you have logged. On Pro, Stillman can look a specific bottle up on the web and show you where it read.
“What should I pour tonight?”

IVThe Bunker
Every bottle at its real fill level, grouped where you actually keep it. Sealed or open, what you paid, where you bought it, when you opened it, and the whole history since: opened, poured, refilled, killed, gifted, sold. No cap on bottles, on any plan.

VTonight’s Pour
Tell it the occasion and Stillman picks one bottle off your own open shelf, says why, and names a runner-up. Tonight’s Pour is part of Pro.

VIScan the label
Point the camera at a bottle and Cask & Note reads the distillery, expression, proof, age statement and mash bill off the label. It never guesses a field that is not printed, and you review everything before it saves.
VIIThe hunt list
The bottles you are chasing, with a target price and where you last saw one. Found it? Tap Found it and it moves straight into the Bunker with the facts already filled in.
Why Cask & Note
Rating apps know the bottle but not your shelf. Inventory spreadsheets know the shelf but not what it tasted like. Cask & Note keeps both, and hands them to a guide.
Your score, your notes and the label facts sit together, so months later you have more to go on than a blurry photo.
Your score answers the useful question: would you pour it again?
Every bottle shows its real fill level, so you can see at a glance which open bottles are down to a heel and pour the good ones while they are good.
Pro adds insights: what your shelf is made of, what you have spent by month and which bottles have waited longest.
No feed, no followers, no leaderboard. Your notes are private to your account. Export your journal to CSV whenever you want.
Delete your account from inside the app and it is actually gone.
Pricing
Logging is never gated: every pour, score and note, the whole Bunker and the hunt list are free for as long as you use the app. Pro adds the parts that help you learn from it: unlimited Stillman, Tonight’s Pour, flights, your palate report, unlimited scans, insights, photos and the richer export.

Ask Stillman anything about whiskey. Every answer starts from your own scores and your own shelf, and a question about one specific bottle gets looked up rather than guessed.
Tell it the mood and it picks one bottle off your own open shelf, and tells you how to take it.
Three to five pours from what you own, in the order to taste them.
A report worked out from the pours you have logged: what keeps scoring high, and what to try next.
What your collection is made of, what you have spent by month, and which open bottles have been waiting the longest.
As many label scans as a store pick hunt takes, plus photos on every pour.
Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription: $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. The 3-day free trial is on the annual plan only. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Billed through your Apple Account. Prices shown in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your currency before you buy. Pro features carry the fair-use limits described in our Terms of Use.
